A schoool bus bill passed. State Rep. Alma Allen had it passed and signed by Governor Perry. Union President Wretha Thomas, bus driver, bus aide rally in Austin for this bill. Now the bus drivers have a coive on the bus when there is a misbehaviing students.
When the bus drivers get up in the morning, most school staff are still in bed, with their pillows under the head. These drivers go to work while its dark outside, they pick up students whether its raining or ice.
If a person pass a bus while the light are flashing and the is stopped, then you may get a larger fine from a cop. These higher fines help a lot, this kind of actions help make people stop.
There are students on the bus that act right, they don't curse and they don't want to fight. The students or the drivers shouldn't have to deal with a bully on the bus, with the new bill maybe the bullies will keep their hands to their and don't curse and hush.
These drivers watch out for the students day in and day out. They watch them like they are a scout.
