Dear Brothers and Sisters:
NTU members through our affiliation with the American Federation of Teachers can receive free professional development credits by attending our Professional Learning Showcase. Take Saturday, February 25th off and let your spouse handle the kids and chores. Organize a car pool with colleagues and make a day of it. It ends at 3:30 so you still have the rest of the day—go shopping, get a massage.
Attached you will find copies of both Unit 47's initial proposals as well as Danbury Hospital's proposals. Please remember these can change at any time and these are just the beginning for both sides.

February 14, 2017 Today teachers, parents and community members rallied outside the Ronald Blocker Educational Leadership Building to show their love for students, education support professionals, teachers and public education. Aside from OCPS teachers we had representatives from UCF, Jobs with Justice, the League of Women Voters, VAMOS4PR, and the AFL-CIO Central Labor Council.
As President of OESPA, I would like to congratulate all of the OESPA Members nominated for support person of the year. I am so proud of you. Thanks for all you do.

OESPA and the District met for a half-day session again on April 4, 2017 to continue the 2016-2017 bargaining year for the 2017-2018 Contract.
