For your information, The Manhasset Education Association Representative Assembly meets monthly. Meetings begin at 3:45, and are scheduled to last until 5:15. On occasion, meetings run past 5:15. All meetings are held in the Middle School Library. All meetings are open to members of the Manhasset Education Association.
The dates of this year's scheduled meetings are: September 11, October 16, November 13, December 11, January 15, February 12, March 18, April 1, May 13, and June 10.
Thanks to the work of our union, the salaries for Part-Time Lecturers at Rutgers are now among the highest in the nation.

Dear Board Chair Erwin:
The Georgia Federation of Teachers concurs with the DeKalb NAACP regarding the school district’s request to raise the millage rate. The present administration has almost double the budget from that which was under former Superintendent Michael Thurmond.
Again, we ask as others have asked for a Forensic Audit.
